WBB U8s 2  v  0  Foxhole United U8s

A better display on a cold day. Results will get better as we approach the summer.

MOTM:- Robbie Shaille

09/03/08 Heath Park

 Foxhole United U8s 0  v  9 Buckland Athletic U8s

A pretty decent display but the teams age means that we'll always struggle, good performances from Luke and Reide Bain.

MOTM:- Reide Bain

02/03/08 Victroria Park

Foxhole United U8s 0  v  7 Bovey Tracey Spirit U8s

Last game of the first part of the season and signs that next year we may start to get results,

MOTM:- Matthew Campbell.

10/02/08 Teignmouth

Broadmeadow U8s 3  v  1 Foxhole United U8s

                                                   Bain

The best performance of the year so far, everone got involved and helped the team. Reide Bain got his first goal of the season playing from defence. A deserved Man of the Match performance.

MOTM:- Reide Bain

27/01/08 Victoria Park

Foxhole United U8's 1  v  11 Buckland & Milber U8's

Campbell

Despite the result the Tigers put up a great performance and it is only the fact that all the players in the squad, don't really want to go in goal, why we don't get alot closer to teams.

Robbie Shaille drew the short straw and went in goal first and did ok. Colby Willicott went in in the second half and did similarly.

Liam Dowsing, who plays mostly at the back, went upfront with Matthew Campbell and linked up really well a few times and helped Matthew to get, his and the teams second goal of the season. Colby and in particular Robbie did very well in midfield and both ran for all their worth. At the back Josh did well with trainers on and Reide Bain was exceptional and on several occasions ran the ball out of defence to create chances. All in all a great performance.

MOTM:- Robbie Shaille for his excellent second half out.

25/11/07 Victoria Park

Foxhole United U8s 0  v  20 Chelston Juniors U8s

Totally out played today and a shame that it was a bit soul destroying for the Tigers. We will be stepping up the training and try to build some positional sense.

MOTM:- Josh Noye

11/11/07 Milber

Buckland & Milber U8s 7  v  0 Foxhole United U8s

A gutsy display from the Tigers who played better than the scoreline suggests.

Bailey Fox in his first full match showed great improvement as did Colby Willicott.

Liam and Reide both played well as did Josh, Luke and Matthew but as is often the case at this age group one player can make all the difference and that was the case as Bucklands star player had enough speed to beat the cover and score on 2 or 3 occasions.

A young team of Tigers are growing together and should do much better next season when they are that little bit older.

 MOTM:- Bailey Fox

14/10/07 Victoria Park

Foxhole United u8's  0  v  5  Broadmeadow u8's

A very encouraging display from the young tigers. With the score 1-0 at half time and missing top scorer Matthew Campbell, I reckon on another day it may well have been a positive result. Robbie in goal is learning fast and we'll look to dedicate the next training session to Goallie practice. Josh and Liam in particular did well at the back especially when Liam pushed forward to help the attacks. Reide did alot of good work but tended to give the ball away a bit cheaply, Luke Jerwood was exceptional in midfield, dogged, robust in the tackle and quick around the field, a real revelation since coming out of goal. Colby played upfront and has shown real improvement since the last match.

We're certainly improving.

Lets keep up the good work and keep training. Well done boys.

MOTM :- Luke Jerwood

30/09/07 Bovey Tracey

Foxhole United Under 8's  0  v 13 Bovey Tracey Under 8's

Against a well drilled side the Tigers took a heavy defeat. Matthew was unlucky not to score on one occasion but it was pretty much one way traffic. Liam Dowsing had a superb game at the back for United.

MOTM :- Liam Dowsing

16/09/07 Victoria Park

Foxhole United Under 8's  1  v  9  Newton Town Under 8's

Campbell 25

A brave effort by the Tigers against a very well organised Town side.

Luke Jerwood played very well in goal and prevented many goals.

Liam Dowsing and Josh Noye got stuck in well as did Colby, Bailey and Robbie.

Man of the match Matthew Campbell, who only played the second half, gave us a chance to score and took his chance well after a great run out of defence.

Onward and upward, with hard work and teamwork we can do alot better.

MOTM:- Matthew Campbell
